2. The Governance Lens

Definition of Done (DoD)

The exit contract for finished work.

The Definition of Done (DoD) is the exit contract. It prevents zombie projects from haunting the organization indefinitely.

🎭Tone:Binary. Final. Celebratory.

The Exit Contract

Just as the DoR protects the start of the work, the DoD protects the end. A project is not complete when the code is merged; it is complete when the Acceptance Criteria are met, the Test Cases are validated, and the Evidence References are attached.

The Completion Rule
"Almost done" is not a state in the Governance OS. A milestone is either Pending, In Progress, Blocked, or Done. Moving a milestone to 'Done' requires verifiable evidence.

Protecting the Next Phase

Strict adherence to the DoD is what makes the Accelerator function. You cannot legally transition from a Pilot phase to an MVP phase if the DoD of the Pilot has not been mathematically satisfied.
