Welcome to GovernanceOS, a product by HatStack.

1. Usage & Early Access

GovernanceOS is currently provided in an Early Access evaluation phase. It is provided "as is" as a tool for project governance and management. You retain full ownership of the data and artifacts you generate using the platform.

2. Fees

GovernanceOS offers paid subscription tiers for advanced features. Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing portal. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Due to the digital nature of the service, we do not offer refunds for partial months of service unless legally required. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid features until the end of your billing cycle.

3. Liability

HatStack is not liable for project failures, data loss, or business decisions made based on the artifacts generated by the system.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

5. AI Data Processing & Security Annex

GovernanceOS leverages foundational Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate architectural drafting, auditing, and alignment. We enforce a strict Zero-Trust AI Pipeline to protect your enterprise data.

  • Zero Model Training: We route all prompts exclusively through Enterprise API endpoints. We hold binding agreements with our AI sub-processors that explicitly prohibit the use of your prompts, context, or generated artifacts to train, fine-tune, or improve foundational models.
  • Ephemeral Processing: Your context is encrypted in transit and processed in memory. Our sub-processors enforce a maximum 30-day data retention policy strictly for automated abuse monitoring, after which the data is cryptographically purged.
  • Sovereign Boundary: The AI has no autonomous access to your database or third-party integrations. It only processes the exact, isolated text payloads you explicitly send via our drafting tools.

If your organizational security posture prohibits third-party LLM processing, Workspace Administrators may disable AI capabilities, reverting GovernanceOS to a purely manual cryptographic locking engine.
