Path Selection Logic
Logic gate for choosing the right delivery path.
decisionsrisksetupspeed
Purpose: Answer one question: "Are we moving forward for the right reason—and at the right risk?" Do not build a POC if you do not need one.
🎭Tone:Logic-driven. Risk-adjusted. Non-negotiable.
The AI Auto-Selection Engine
In the Governance OS platform, you do not manually pick your phases. The Accelerator Path is auto-selected by the AI Auditor based on your Lens GapScore triggers:
| Gap Trigger | System Action |
|---|---|
| If Feasibility (F) ≥ 3 | Force POC (Feasibility must be proven) |
| If Behavior (B) ≥ 3 | Force Pilot (Real-world behavior must be tested) |
| If Dependency (D) ≥ 3 | Force Pilot (Volatility must be confronted in reality) |
| If Value (V) ≥ 3 | BLOCK BUILD (No MVP allowed until objectives are clear) |
The Skip-Phase Justification (Deviation Record)
The platform allows you to manually override the AI's recommended path. However, bypassing an auto-selected phase (e.g., skipping a Pilot when Dependencies are highly volatile) converts unknowns into latent incidents.
Executing a Deviation in the OS
When you override the Accelerator path in the Lens Wizard, the platform forces the creation of a Cryptographic Deviation Record. It requires:
- ☐Identify the skipped phase (What are we bypassing?).
- ☐State the justification (Why is the AI wrong?).
- ☐Name the Risk Owner (Who is personally accepting the liability?).
The Liability Rule
Unjustified skips externalize risk onto delivery teams. Skipping is allowed, but the risk must be bought and paid for with a named signature. If the Risk Owner field is blank, the deviation is mathematically invalid.
